Some months ago I had considerable difficulties in getting wordpress and apache2 to run smoothly on my little server. The adventurous me decided to try out Apache Roller, a Java-based blogging Software (“everything above port 80 is good”).
Roller is ok but I did not quite manage to get all the web2-things to roll properly.
Now, as I moved www.literartblog.ch and our sports club site (www.sportcruseilles.net) to Paris, I saw that WordPress does actually fine (I think I know as well what my mistake was, but I’m not sure).
So. I’m back on WordPress. But the archive will stay where it is, I don’t really think that anything beyond my pictures is worth to be preserved for “eternity” and the pictures are kept safely at smugmug :-)
